What's up?

August 28, 2008 - NVScene 2008 is over

What a blast! Thanks to everyone who attended and submitted contributions - the competitions were absolutely fantastic. You can find all entries here, and check out the results here.

August 21, 2008 - Deadline for submitting your entries

This is the deadline for submitting your demo or 4k (it's the same deadline for both compos):

August 25, 12:00 California time (that's 21:00 CET)

This means you should have SOME version of your entry entered to the system, even if it's not final - this, again, makes sure your entry doesnt get lost. We will contact you email if there's a problem with the entry.

In addition to that, you can provide new versions of your production up until:

August 26, 12:00 California time (that's 21:00 CET)

This is the final time we accept updates and fixes by.

If you have signed up at this page, then you have recieved information about how to submit your entry. If you are at the partyplace then you can submit your entry through Partymeister. If you have not signed up, and are not at the party place, then put your entry online somehwere send us a mail WITH A LINK TO YOUR ENTRY! We repeat: do NOT send us mails with huge attachments!

We WILL be constantly monitoring the email address nvision@scene.org so if you have any question, fire away - but please do note that we'll be really busy and we might not be able to answer right away.

Best regards and happy coding! :)

August 15, 2008 - NVScene in one week!

Arranged in strong cooperation with Scene.org and the Breakpoint demo party, NVScene (demo reel) will be the biggest ever demo party in the US. The party will be held in San Jose, California from the 25th to the 27th of August.

In addition to the classic demo competitions, there will be a very strong lineup of seminar speakers, featuring Navis/ASD, Bonzaj/Plastic, Chaos/Farbrausch, IQ/RGBA, Mentor/TBC, Preacher/Traction and Pixtur/Still.

Scene.org will be represented by several staff members, so if you are in the area, be sure to drop on by!
